Crispy Rolled Eggs

Ingredients:

  • 2 large eggs
  • 2 tablespoons soy sauce
  • 1 teaspoon oyster sauce
  • Cooking oil (for frying)
  • 6 skewers

Instructions:

  1. Prepare the Egg Mixture: In a bowl, whisk together the eggs, soy sauce, and oyster sauce until the mixture is frothy and well combined.

  2. Heat the Oil: Pour a generous amount of cooking oil into a frying pan and heat it over medium-high heat until it’s hot and shimmering.

  3. Cook the Eggs: Using a ladle or spoon, pour a small amount of the egg mixture into the hot oil. Place a skewer into the egg mixture, and while holding the skewer, gently press the sides of the pan to help the egg adhere to the skewer and form a compact roll. Continue adding more of the egg mixture to the skewer until you reach the desired thickness.

  4. Fry Until Golden: Fry the rolled eggs until they are golden brown and crispy, turning them occasionally to ensure even cooking. Remove the rolls from the pan and drain them on paper towels.

  5. Serve: Serve the crispy rolled eggs hot with a variety of dipping sauces of your choice.
