Telur Ceplok Kecap Cepat Kilat (Quick Fried Eggs in Sweet Soy Sauce)

Ingredients:

Eggs (chicken) 6 large
Red shallots (thinly sliced) 4 cloves
Garlic (coarsely chopped) 2 cloves
Ground black pepper 1/2 teaspoon
Cooking oil For sautéing
Fried shallots To taste
Red chilies (diagonally sliced) 3 pieces
Sweet soy sauce 10 tablespoons
Water 50 ml
Sugar To taste
Salt To taste

Instructions:

  1. Begin by frying the eggs sunny-side up until the whites are set and the yolks are still runny; set them aside.
  2. In a pan, heat some cooking oil over medium heat and sauté the sliced shallots and chopped garlic until fragrant.
  3. Add the sweet soy sauce and water to the pan, stirring well until the mixture comes to a boil.
  4. Incorporate the ground black pepper, sugar, and salt, adjusting the seasoning to taste.
