Sayur Sawi Hijau Tahu

Ingredients

Sawi hijau (Green mustard greens) 200 grams (or as desired)
Tahu (Tofu) 200 grams
Wortel (Carrot) 1 medium, sliced
Cabe keriting (Chili peppers) 2-3, sliced
Bawang putih (Garlic) 2 cloves, minced
Bawang merah (Shallots) 2 cloves, minced
Garam (Salt) to taste
Gula (Sugar) to taste
Minyak (Oil) 2 tablespoons
Margarin (Butter) 1 tablespoon

Instructions

  1. Begin by preparing the sawi hijau; chop it according to your preference, then rinse thoroughly to remove any dirt.
  2. Next, peel and wash the wortel. Slice the carrot to your desired thickness.
  3. Rinse the tahu, then cut it into cubes or slices based on your preference.
  4. For the aromatics, peel the bawang merah and bawang putih, then wash and finely chop them.
  5. Heat the minyak in a frying pan over medium heat. Once hot, add the chopped bawang merah and bawang putih. Sauté until fragrant and slightly golden.
  6. Incorporate the cabe keriting, along with garam and gula. Add seasoning to taste, ensuring it complements the other flavors.
  7. Add the sliced wortel and a splash of water. Cover and allow to simmer until the carrot is tender and the water has reduced slightly.
  8. Gently stir in the tahu, mixing carefully to avoid breaking the tofu.
  9. Finally, add the chopped sawi hijau. Stir well to combine all ingredients, allowing everything to cook together for a few minutes.
  10. Once everything is well incorporated and the sawi hijau is wilted, remove from heat and serve hot.
