Mayonnaise 1 teaspoon
Bon Cabe (spicy chili sauce, level 15) 1 teaspoon
Water 100 ml or to taste

  1. Fry the Potatoes: In a pan, heat 5 tablespoons of cooking oil over medium heat. Add the diced potatoes and fry until they are halfway cooked.

  2. Sauté Aromatics: Add the finely chopped red onion, garlic, and the ground ginger and turmeric. Sauté until fragrant and the onions are translucent.

  3. Add Sardines: Gently add the canned sardines, followed by 100 ml of water (or adjust to your preferred consistency). Stir to combine.

  4. Season the Dish: Sprinkle in salt, sugar, Bon Cabe, and mayonnaise. Stir well and let it simmer until heated through and the flavors meld.

  5. Serve: Once fragrant and fully cooked, remove from heat and serve hot, garnished with an extra dollop of mayonnaise on top.
