All-purpose flour 250 grams (1/4 kg)
Salt To taste
Ground pepper To taste
Chili sauce 5 sachets
Tomato sauce 10 sachets
Onion 1, sliced

Instructions

  1. Prepare the Fish: Start by thoroughly cleaning the patin fish. Season with salt and half of the ground pepper, then let it marinate for a while.

  2. Coat the Fish: Once marinated, coat each piece of fish evenly with all-purpose flour, ensuring they are well-covered for a crispy texture.

  3. Fry the Fish: Heat oil in a frying pan over medium heat and fry the coated fish until golden brown and cooked through. Remove and drain on paper towels.

  4. Make the Sauce: In a separate saucepan, combine the tomato sauce, chili sauce, sliced onion, and water. Bring the mixture to a boil and taste for seasoning, adjusting with salt if necessary.

  5. Serve: Once the sauce is ready and the fish is crispy, plate the fried patin fish and drizzle the sauce generously over the top.

Your Ikan Patin Asam Manis is now ready to be enjoyed! Serve hot with steamed rice for a delightful meal.
