Instructions
- Begin by boiling the tofu with 1 tsp of salt to eliminate any sourness, then cut it into large cubes.
- Heat a generous amount of oil in a pan and fry the tofu until it develops a crispy skin. Once cooked, remove and drain on paper towels, setting aside.
- In the same pan, sauté the ground spices in a little oil, then add the julienned carrot. Cook until the carrot is half tender, stirring occasionally. If the mixture becomes too sticky, add a splash of water.
- Pour in all the seasoning ingredients and stir to combine well.
- Add the dissolved cornstarch, mixing until the sauce thickens. Taste and adjust seasoning if necessary.
- Gently fold in the fried tofu and stir until everything is evenly coated and heated through.
- Remove from heat and serve hot. Enjoy this simple yet delicious dish!
