Tuna Spaghetti Recipe

Canned Tuna 1 can (185g)
Tomato 1 medium
Tomato Paste 1 tablespoon
Bell Pepper 1/2 medium
Onion (Yellow or Sweet) 1/2 medium
Garlic 3 cloves
Mixed Spices (Instant Seasoning) 1 teaspoon
Salt To taste
Black Pepper To taste
Chili Powder To taste
Cooking Oil As needed for sautéing

Instructions

  1. Prepare the Spaghetti: Start by boiling water in a pot. Add a teaspoon of oil to prevent the spaghetti from sticking. Cook 1/4 package of spaghetti (approximately 125 grams) for about 7 minutes or until al dente, following the package instructions. Once cooked, drain and set aside.

  2. Make the Sauce: In a pan, heat some oil over medium heat. Sauté the chopped onion and minced garlic until fragrant. Add diced bell pepper and continue to sauté until softened. Incorporate the chopped tomato and mix well, followed by the tomato paste. Add a splash of water if needed to loosen the sauce.

  3. Season the Sauce: Stir in the mixed spices, salt, black pepper, and chili powder, adjusting to taste. Finally, fold in the drained tuna, breaking it up gently, and let it heat through.
