Instructions
- In a mixing bowl, combine the mashed tofu with the sliced ingredients: green tomatoes, bird’s eye chilies, curly green chilies, shallots, garlic, and green onion.
- Add the egg, salt, sugar, seasoning, and ground black pepper. Mix thoroughly until well combined.
- If desired, fold in the grated mozzarella until evenly distributed throughout the mixture.
- Transfer the mixture into a steaming-safe dish, ensuring it is placed in a container that won’t warp while steaming.
- Steam for approximately 20 minutes. A pot or a rice cooker can be used for this step, making it convenient.
