For those that are closed, use a small knife to remove any barnacles or debris from the shells. Gently scrub them with a new scouring pad to eliminate any remaining impurities. Rinse the mussels thoroughly under cold water to remove any sand or grit.

  2. Cook the Mussels: Once your mussels are clean, move on to the cooking stage. Heat a large pot over medium-high heat.
