Ingredients:

  • 1 tablespoon Nutralite Garlic & Oregano Spread
  • 4 slices Whole Wheat Brown Bread
  • 200 grams Button mushrooms, sliced
  • 1 Onion, finely chopped
  • 4-5 Spring Onion Greens, finely chopped
  • 2 cloves Garlic, finely chopped
  • 1-inch Ginger, finely chopped
  • 2 tablespoons Achari Mayo

Preparation Time: 10 minutes
Cooking Time: 20 minutes

Instructions:

  1. Begin by preparing all the ingredients: chop the onions, spring onions, garlic, and ginger, and slice the mushrooms.

  2. In a pan, heat 1 teaspoon of Nutralite Garlic & Oregano Spread. Add the finely chopped onions, garlic, and ginger, and sauté for about 1 minute until lightly browned.

  3. Stir in the sliced mushrooms and spring onions. Continue to sauté until the mushrooms are cooked through but not releasing too much moisture.

  4. Once the mushrooms are done, add 2 tablespoons of Nutralite Achari Mayo and stir well. Turn off the heat. Taste the mixture and adjust the salt if needed, as the Achari Mayo is already quite flavorful.

  5. Toast the whole wheat bread slices in a toaster or oven until crisp and golden. Spread the Nutralite Garlic & Oregano Spread on each slice.

  6. Spoon the prepared Achari Mushroom mixture generously over the toasted bread slices.
