  • Chana Dal (Bengal Gram Dal) – 1 teaspoon
  • Curry Leaves – a few sprigs
  • Dry Red Chilies – 3, broken
  • Roasted Peanuts (Moongphali) – 1 tablespoon

Instructions

  1. Prepare the Coarse Mixture:

    • Drain the soaked idli rice and grind it coarsely with freshly grated coconut, dry red chilies, tamarind paste, jaggery, and 1/4 cup of water. Set the mixture aside.
