Begin by melting the ghee in a saucepan. Add the ragi flour and roast it on medium flame, stirring continuously, until it changes color and releases a fragrant aroma. This will take a few minutes. -
Add Water:
Lower the flame and gradually pour in the water, whisking constantly. The mixture will begin to thicken. Keep stirring to ensure it remains smooth. -
Add Milk and Sweeteners:
Once the ragi flour is well incorporated, pour in the milk while stirring to avoid any lumps. Stir well and cook for a few minutes. -
Flavor the Malt:
Add the jaggery, cardamom powder, dry ginger powder, saffron strands (if using), and almond meal. Continue to cook on medium flame until the mixture thickens to a porridge-like consistency. -
