  • 4 cups Idli Dosa Batter
  • 2 cups Carrots (Gajjar), grated
  • 2 tablespoons Ginger, grated

Cook Time: 10 minutes

Instructions:

  1. Begin by grating the carrots and ginger, and set them aside. Make sure your Idli Dosa Batter is ready.
  2. Heat a teaspoon of oil in a pan, then add the grated carrots and ginger. Sauté for a minute, until they soften slightly.
  3. Let the mixture cool, then blend it into a fine puree using a mixer grinder.
  4. Add the puree to the bowl of Idli Dosa Batter, and season with salt. Whisk everything together until well combined.
  5. Heat a skillet and brush with a little oil. Pour a ladleful of the prepared batter onto the skillet and spread it into a thin, even layer.
  6. Let the dosa cook for about a minute until the bottom turns golden brown, then flip it over and cook the other side for another minute.
  7. Remove the dosa from the skillet and place it on a serving plate.
  8. Repeat the process with the remaining batter to make more dosas.
