Schezwan Poha Recipe

Ingredients:
- 2 cups poha (soaked and drained)
- 1 onion, finely chopped
- 2 cloves garlic, finely chopped
- 1/4 cup green beans, finely chopped
- 1/4 cup carrots, finely chopped
- 1 tbsp yellow capsicum, finely chopped
- 1 tbsp red capsicum, finely chopped
- 1 tbsp green capsicum, finely chopped
- 4 tbsp red chili sauce
- 1/4 tsp whole black pepper, crushed
- 2 tsp oil
- Salt, to taste
Preparation Time: 10 minutes
Cooking Time: 15 minutes
Instructions:
- Begin by washing the poha thoroughly and draining the excess water using a sieve.
- Heat oil in a pan and add the chopped garlic. Sauté until it turns light golden.
- Add the chopped onion to the pan and cook until it becomes soft and translucent.
- Once the onions soften, add the green beans and carrots. Let them cook for about 3 minutes.
- Add the finely chopped yellow, red, and green capsicum to the pan, cooking for another 1-2 minutes.
- Stir in the Schezwan sauce and crushed black pepper, and cook for 1 minute.
- Add the soaked and drained poha to the pan. Season with salt and let it cook for about 5 minutes, stirring occasionally.
- Turn off the heat, garnish with more capsicum, and serve your Schezwan Poha with a hot cup of Garam Masala Tea for a delicious breakfast.
