Ingredients:

  • 1/4 cup Lemon juice
  • 500 grams Curd (Dahi / Yogurt)
  • 1/4 cup Powdered Sugar
  • 2 tablespoons Fresh cream
  • 1/8 teaspoon Turmeric powder (Haldi)
  • Few drops Vanilla Extract
  • 1 teaspoon Orange Zest (Rind)
  • 2 wedges of Orange

Preparation Time: 10 minutes
Cook Time: 0 minutes

Instructions:

  1. In a medium-sized bowl, beat the yogurt and turmeric powder for about 4 minutes.
  2. Add the fresh cream, powdered sugar, vanilla extract, and freshly squeezed lemon juice to the yogurt mixture. Mix well.
  3. Pour the mixture into a freezing bowl and place it in the freezer for 2 hours.
  4. After 2 hours, take the bowl out of the freezer, stir well, and return it to the freezer. Let it freeze overnight.
  5. 30-40 minutes before serving, remove the frozen yogurt from the freezer to soften slightly.
  6. Serve in a fancy bowl with large scoops of the Lemon Frozen Yogurt. Garnish with a sprinkle of orange zest and a slice of orange for a decorative touch.
