Radish Greens Stir Fry (Mooli Ke Patton Ka Poriyal)

Ingredients:
- 12 Small onions, chopped
- 1 Tomato, finely chopped
- 1 cup Radish greens, finely chopped
- 1/8 tsp Turmeric powder
- Salt, to taste
- 1/4 cup Arhar dal (pigeon peas), soaked in warm water for 10 minutes
- 2 tsp Grated coconut
- 1 Dry red chili
- 1 tsp Sesame oil
- 1/2 tsp Cumin seeds
- 1/2 inch Ginger, grated
- A pinch of Asafoetida (hing)
- 1 Sprig Curry leaves
Preparation Time: 10 minutes
Cooking Time: 20 minutes
Instructions:
- Start by preparing all the ingredients. Grind the ingredients meant for grinding (grated coconut, ginger, and dry red chili) in a mixer grinder.
- Heat sesame oil in a pan. Add the cumin seeds, curry leaves, and a pinch of asafoetida for tempering.
- Once the tempering is ready, add the chopped onions, tomatoes, turmeric powder, and salt. Cook until the tomatoes become soft.
- Add the ground paste and a little water. Stir and cook for 3-4 minutes on low heat.
- Add the radish greens, mix well, and cook for another 5 minutes.
- Serve the Radish Greens Stir Fry (Mooli Ke Patton Ka Poriyal) with beetroot sambar, rice, and papad for a complete meal.
