Eggless Dark Chocolate Cookies with Almonds

These Eggless Dark Chocolate Cookies with Almonds are the perfect treat to serve at your tea parties. With a rich combination of dark chocolate and crunchy almonds, these cookies are irresistible. Make them in large batches and watch them vanish in no time!

Ingredients:

  • 50g Salted Butter
  • 200g Dark Chocolate
  • 400g Condensed Milk
  • 4 tbsp Almond Meal (Badam Powder)
  • 2 tsp Cocoa Powder
  • 200g All-Purpose Flour (Maida)
  • 50g White Chocolate (roughly chopped or white chocolate chips)

Preparation Time: 20 mins
Cooking Time: 60 mins

Instructions:

  1. Start by melting the dark chocolate in a saucepan over low heat until smooth.
  2. Add the butter to the chocolate and stir occasionally until fully melted.
  3. Once melted, remove from heat and mix in the condensed milk, followed by the almond meal and cocoa powder. Stir well to combine.
  4. In a large mixing bowl, sift the all-purpose flour. Then, add the chocolate mixture to the flour and combine them to form a dough.
  5. Chill the dough in the fridge for 20-30 minutes.
  6. After the dough is chilled, fold in the roughly chopped white chocolate. Mix well to distribute evenly.
  7. Preheat your oven to 170°C (340°F).
  8. Divide the dough into 15-20 equal portions and roll them into balls. Place the balls on a greased baking tray, leaving space between them.
  9. Gently flatten each dough ball with your fingers. Bake for 12 minutes or until the cookies are chewy in the middle and firm at the edges.
  10. Once done, remove the tray from the oven and let the cookies cool for 5 minutes.
  11. For an extra indulgent touch, drizzle some melted chocolate over the cookies.
