  • 1 cup Poha (Flattened Rice)
  • 1/2 cup Barnyard Millet
  • 1/2 cup Whole Almonds (Badam)
  • 1/2 cup Cashew Nuts
  • 3/4 cup Jaggery, grated
  • 50 grams Dark Chocolate (Lindt), melted
  • Chocolate Pearls, for garnish

For the Filling:

  • 1/2 cup Hung Curd (Greek Yogurt) (1/2 cup full-fat yogurt strained overnight on a cheesecloth)
  • 150 grams Britannia Cream Cheese
  • 10 Strawberries, pureed
  • 1/4 cup Sugar

Instructions:

  1. Prepare the Tart Base:

    • Dry roast poha, barnyard millet, almonds, and cashew nuts separately in a cast iron pan. Let them cool completely.
    • In a mixer, grind poha and barnyard millet into a fine powder. Add the roasted nuts and pulse until they are coarsely ground.
    • Add jaggery and melted dark chocolate to the mixture, then pulse again until the ingredients come together as a dough-like consistency.
    • Transfer the mixture into a tart pan with a removable bottom, pressing it down tightly. Wrap with cling film and refrigerate for 2-3 hours.
  2. Prepare the Filling:

    • In a bowl, whisk together hung curd and cream cheese until soft and fluffy.
    • Add the pureed strawberries and sugar to the cheese mixture, and whisk until smooth and well combined.
  3. Assemble the Tart:

    • Remove the tart base from the refrigerator. Pour the strawberry cheese filling over the chilled base and gently tap the pan to settle the filling.
    • Cover the tart with cling film and refrigerate for another 4-5 hours to allow the filling to set.
  4. Serve:

    • After the tart has set, remove it from the refrigerator. Carefully remove the bottom of the tart pan, then transfer the tart to a serving plate.
    • Drizzle with chocolate sauce and garnish with fresh strawberries and chocolate pearls.
