Category: Desserts
Servings: 1
Preparation Time: 15 minutes
Freezing Time: 12 hours

Ingredients:

Ingredient Quantity
Melon 2 kg
Pineapple 2 kg
Mango 600 g
Strawberries 500 g
Blackberries 500 g

Instructions:

  1. Prepare the Melon:

    • Start by cutting off both ends of the melon to create a stable base. Then, slice the melon in half, removing the seeds with a spoon.
    • Peel the skin off each half and cut the melon into cubes of approximately 2 cm in size.
    • Spread the melon cubes evenly on a tray, making sure they are not overlapping.
    • Cover the tray with plastic wrap and place it in the freezer. Once the melon has frozen solid, transfer it into a freezer bag and leave it in the freezer for at least 12 hours.
  2. Prepare the Pineapple:

    • To clean the pineapple, cut off the top and bottom with a knife. Then, divide the pineapple into 4 wedges and remove the tough, woody core.
    • Slice each wedge into smaller pieces, roughly 1 cm thick, and arrange them on a tray.
    • Cover the pineapple pieces with plastic wrap and place them in the freezer. Let the pineapple freeze for 12 hours. After freezing, transfer the pieces into a freezer bag for long-term storage.
  3. Prepare the Strawberries:

    • Rinse and dry the strawberries thoroughly, removing the stems.
    • Cut the strawberries in half and place them on a tray in the freezer. Allow them to freeze for at least 12 hours.
  4. Prepare the Blackberries:

    • Gently wash and dry the blackberries.
    • Lay them out on a tray in a single layer and freeze for at least 12 hours.
  5. Blend the Frozen Fruit:

    • Once all the fruits are frozen, it’s time to blend them into a refreshing frozen dessert. Start by adding the frozen melon into a blender or food processor with sharp blades.
    • Next, add the frozen pineapple and strawberries into the blender.
    • Blend the mixture until smooth, creating a creamy, sorbet-like texture.
  6. Serve:

    • Transfer the blended fruit mixture into small serving cups or bowls.
    • Serve immediately for a delightful, refreshing treat.

Pro Tip: For an even more indulgent version, try adding a drizzle of honey or a sprinkle of fresh mint on top before serving!

This Frozen Fruit Delight offers a natural and refreshing dessert that’s perfect for a hot day. With its sweet and tangy combination of melon, pineapple, mango, strawberries, and blackberries, it’s a healthy and delicious option that can be enjoyed by all.
