Honey-Glazed Chicken Wings

Tomato pulp 150g
Extra virgin olive oil 1 tablespoon
Honey 2 tablespoons
Apple cider vinegar 25g
Paprika 1 tablespoon
Fresh chili pepper 1
Garlic cloves 3
Salt to taste

Instructions

  1. Start by preparing the chicken wings. Remove any leftover feathers and carefully singe them over an open flame to ensure they are fully cleaned.
  2. Once cleaned, place the wings in a large mixing bowl.
  3. Add the paprika, honey, tomato pulp, olive oil, and salt to the bowl.
  4. Slice the fresh chili pepper and peel the garlic cloves, lightly crushing them with the side of a knife. Add both the chili and garlic to the bowl.
  5. Using your hands, thoroughly mix all the ingredients together to coat the wings evenly.
  6. Cover the bowl with plastic wrap and refrigerate for 3-4 hours, allowing the wings to marinate and absorb the flavors.
  7. Preheat your oven to 180°C (350°F). Line a baking tray with parchment paper.
  8. After marinating, take the chicken wings out of the fridge and arrange them on the prepared tray.
  9. Bake the wings in the preheated oven for 30-35 minutes, or until they are golden and crispy. For extra crispiness, broil them for the last 5 minutes of cooking.
  10. Once ready, serve the wings hot with your favorite side dishes and enjoy the perfect blend of sweet, spicy, and savory flavors.

Tips:

  • Feel free to adjust the amount of honey for a sweeter glaze or increase the chili for extra heat.
  • For a more intense flavor, marinate the wings overnight.
