Instructions
For the Beef Lettuce Rolls
- Begin by carefully separating the romaine lettuce leaves. Cut the leaves in half to create two large pieces per leaf.
- Lay two slices of beef carpaccio on each half of the lettuce leaves.
- Drizzle a little extra virgin olive oil over the beef slices and season with salt and pepper. For an extra flavor kick, spread a thin layer of mustard on the beef.
- Gently roll up each lettuce leaf, ensuring the seam is facing down so that the rolls stay intact and do not unravel.
- Once all the rolls are made, place them in the fridge to chill before serving.
For the Vegetable Lettuce Rolls
- Peel the carrot and chop it into small cubes. Rinse the peas well and set them aside.
- In a separate pot, boil an egg until fully cooked. Boil the potato as well, then peel and cube it once cooked.
- Prepare a “fake mayonnaise” by combining soy milk, sunflower oil, and vinegar in a blender. Blend for a few seconds until smooth. Season with a pinch of salt.
