Sugar | 130g |
Whole Milk | 70g |
Fresh Liquid Cream | 120g |
Yellow Peach (for garnish) | 1 |
Instructions
-
Prepare the Peaches: Begin by washing and peeling the yellow peaches. Once peeled, slice them in half and remove the pits. Set the peach halves aside for blending.
-
Blend the Mixture: Place the peach flesh in a high container or immersion blender jar. Add the sugar, whole milk, and fresh liquid cream. Use an immersion blender to process the mixture until smooth and creamy. If needed, strain it through a fine mesh sieve to remove any lumps or excess pulp.
-
Churn the Gelato: Transfer the mixture into your ice cream maker. If you’re using the type of ice cream maker we recommend, there is no need to pre-chill the bowl in the freezer. Simply turn on the machine and let it churn for about 30 minutes, or until the texture becomes firm yet creamy.
-
Freezer Method: If you do not have an ice cream maker, you can still make this delicious peach gelato! Simply place the mixture in a container and put it in the freezer. Stir the mixture every 30 minutes to break up ice crystals until it reaches the desired consistency.
-
Chill Before Serving: Once the gelato has churned for 30 minutes or reached the right consistency using the freezer method, transfer it into a shallow, wide container (preferably glass or stainless steel). Cover it with plastic wrap and place it in the fridge for about 2 hours to firm up further.
-
Serve: About 10 minutes before serving, remove the peach gelato from the freezer. Scoop it into bowls or cups, garnish with a slice of fresh peach, and enjoy your homemade peach gelato!
