Prepare the Vanilla Infused Water
Start by adding the water and the seeds scraped from the vanilla pod into a small saucepan. Bring the water to just below boiling point, around 80°C (176°F). Remove the pan from heat once it reaches the right temperature and let it cool down slightly. -
Prepare the Coffee and Chili
While waiting for the water, pour the instant coffee into a shaker. Add the ground chili powder to your taste, depending on how spicy you want the drink. Shake well to combine. -
Melt the Chocolate
Once the water has cooled to the right temperature, add the roughly chopped dark chocolate to the water. Stir until the chocolate melts completely. Then, drop in one ice cube to help cool it down. -
Assemble the Drink
Pour the melted chocolate mixture into the shaker containing the coffee and chili mix. Add the remaining ice cubes and cover the shaker. Shake vigorously for about 20 seconds to combine everything well. -
Serve and Garnish
Open the shaker and strain the mixture into a transparent glass. Discard the strainer, and add a couple of ice cubes to the glass. Finally, garnish with grated dark chocolate for a touch of indulgence.
