Ingredients:

  • 1/2 cup butter
  • 1 cup margarine
  • 1 1/2 cups sugar
  • 2 apples, grated
  • 1 cup all-purpose flour
  • 1 teaspoon baking soda
  • 1 teaspoon ground cinnamon
  • 1 teaspoon ground allspice
  • 1/2 teaspoon salt
  • 1 cup walnuts, chopped
  • 1 cup raisins
  • 1/2 cup butter
  • 1/2 cup sugar
  • Juice and zest of one orange

Instructions:

  1. Preheat Oven: Preheat your oven to 350ยฐF (175ยฐC). Lightly grease and flour a 13x9x2-inch baking pan.

  2. Prepare Batter: In a mixing bowl, cream together 1/2 cup of butter and 1 cup of margarine with 1 1/2 cups of sugar until light and fluffy.
