Preparation:
- Unwrap the phyllo pastry and cover it with clear film and a damp cloth to prevent it from drying out.
- In a large bowl, mix the chopped apples with cinnamon, brown sugar, pecans, sultanas, currants, caster sugar, and lemon zest to create the filling.

- Take one sheet of phyllo pastry at a time and cut it into 15×30 cm strips.
- Brush each strip with melted butter.
