Ingredients:

  • 300 grams of thinly sliced beef
  • 1 green bell pepper
  • 1 red bell pepper
  • 1 onion
  • 4-5 mushrooms
  • 3 cloves garlic, coarsely chopped
  • Salt and pepper, to taste

Marinade:

  • Juice of 2 limes
  • 2-3 tablespoons Bulgogi BBQ marinade (optional)
  • 2 tablespoons sesame oil
  • 2 tablespoons oyster sauce
  • 3-4 tablespoons soy sauce
  • 2 cloves garlic
  • 1 onion, sliced

Instructions:

  1. Marinate the Beef:

    • Combine the lime juice, optional Bulgogi BBQ marinade, sesame oil, oyster sauce, soy sauce, garlic, and sliced onion in a bowl. Mix well.
    • Add the thinly sliced beef to the marinade. Stir to ensure the beef is evenly coated. Cover and let it marinate for at least 4 hours, or preferably overnight, in the refrigerator.
  2. Cook the Beef:

    • Heat a pan over medium heat and add the coarsely chopped garlic. Sauté until fragrant.
    • Add the marinated beef along with the marinade to the pan. Cook until the beef is nearly done.
    • Add the mushrooms and cook for a few more minutes.
    • Pour in 1-2 cups of water to the pan and let it simmer until the beef and mushrooms are fully cooked and the liquid has reduced slightly.
  3. Add Vegetables:

    • Add the green and red bell peppers and the sliced onion to the pan.
    • Continue cooking until the vegetables are tender and have changed color.
  4. Serve:

    • Once everything is cooked through and the flavors are well combined, remove from heat.
    • Transfer to a serving dish and enjoy your Beef Yakiniku!

This savory and flavorful dish is perfect for any meal, offering a delicious blend of tender beef, vibrant vegetables, and a rich marinade.
