Instructions

  1. Begin by peeling and finely chopping the onion. Set it aside.
  2. In a large mixing bowl, combine the three types of ground meat: lamb, beef, and pork.
  3. Add the finely chopped onion and minced garlic to the meat mixture.
  4. Season with sweet paprika, ground cumin, salt, and black pepper. Mix everything together thoroughly until the ingredients are well incorporated.
  5. Let the mixture rest for about 15-20 minutes to allow the flavors to meld together.
  6. Once rested, take small portions of the meat mixture and shape them into cylindrical patties, approximately 10 cm long and 2 cm wide, by rolling the mixture between your palms.
  7. Heat a grill pan or griddle over medium-high heat.
  8. Once hot, place the cevapcici on the grill and cook for about 7 minutes, turning frequently to ensure even cooking on all sides.
  9. Once golden and cooked through, remove the cevapcici from the pan.
  10. Serve hot, accompanied by your favorite side dishes or a fresh salad for a satisfying meal.
