Black olives 250g
Anchovies (or anchovy fillets) 20g
Capers (pickled) 50g
Extra virgin olive oil 180g

Instructions

  1. Prepare the olives: Start by removing the pits from the black olives. Finely chop the olives with a knife on a cutting board. Once chopped, transfer them to a bowl and set aside.

  2. Prepare the anchovies: Similarly, finely chop the anchovies. You can use the knife to slice them into small pieces.

  3. Prepare the capers: Gently rinse the capers under running water to remove excess salt. After rinsing, chop them finely.

  4. Combine the ingredients: Once all the ingredients are prepared, place the chopped olives, anchovies, and capers into a mixing bowl. Add the extra virgin olive oil and mix everything together until well combined.

  5. Enjoy: Your tapenade is now ready to enjoy! Serve it with crusty bread, as a topping for grilled meats, or as a savory accompaniment to other dishes.


Tip: This tapenade can be stored in the refrigerator for up to a week. The flavors will intensify as it sits!
