Salmon BBQ Grill with Steamed Veggies


Ingredients

Ingredient Amount
Fresh salmon fillets 500g (cut as desired)
Barbecue sauce 4 tbsp
Broccoli 100g
Carrots 100g, julienned
Potatoes 100g, boiled
Olive oil 1/2 tsp
Lemon juice 1/2 tsp
Dried parsley 1/2 tsp
Salt To taste
Butter 1 tbsp

Instructions

  1. Marinate the Salmon

    • Cut the salmon into pieces as desired, then place in a bowl or container with the barbecue sauce.
    • Cover and marinate the salmon for at least 2 hours in the refrigerator. This allows the flavors to penetrate deeply into the fish.
  2. Prepare the Vegetables

    • Bring a pot of water to boil, add the potatoes, and cook until tender.
    • After the potatoes are done, add the carrots and cook until slightly soft.
    • Finally, add the broccoli and let it simmer briefly; drain and set aside once the broccoli is tender.
  3. Grill the Salmon

    • Heat a grill pan over medium heat, and add the butter.
    • Once the butter is melted and slightly sizzling, add the marinated salmon fillets. Grill each side for about 7 minutes, or until the salmon is cooked to your preferred doneness. Avoid overcooking to keep the fish tender.
  4. Assemble the Dish

    • Place the grilled salmon on a serving plate.
    • In a mixing bowl, combine the cooked vegetables with the olive oil, lemon juice, a pinch of salt, and dried parsley. Toss until the vegetables are lightly coated and seasoned.
    • Serve the vegetables alongside the grilled salmon for a beautiful and balanced meal.
