Stir-Fried Beef and Broccoli (Tumis Brokoli Sapi)
Ingredients:
- 1 large head of broccoli (approximately 250 grams)
- 250 grams of beef
- 1 medium carrot
- 1 onion
- 4 shallots
- 3 cloves of garlic
- 4 red curly chilies
- 4 green curly chilies
- 3 bird’s eye chilies
- 1 tomato
- 1 bay leaf
- A pinch of sugar
- A pinch of salt
- 1 tablespoon of sweet soy sauce (kecap manis)
- 20 ml of oyster sauce
- 1 tablespoon of cornstarch
- Water, as needed
- Cooking oil, as needed

Prepare the Beef:
- Begin by boiling the beef with the bay leaf until it becomes tender. Once cooked, slice the beef into finger-sized pieces and set aside.
