Instructions:
Step | Description |
---|---|
1 | Preheat oven to 350°F (175°C). |
2 | Cut the phyllo dough in half lengthwise. Keep half covered with plastic wrap and a damp kitchen towel while working to prevent it from drying out. |
3 | Place two sheets of phyllo dough on a clean work surface and brush them with melted butter. |
4 | Fold the sheets in half lengthwise and brush them with more melted butter. |
5 | At the bottom of each strip, place approximately 1 1/2 teaspoons of cranberry sauce, 8 cubes of Brie cheese, and nearly a teaspoon of crumbled bacon. |
6 | Diagonally fold one corner of the strip over the filling, forming a triangle. Continue folding the triangle shape up to the end of the strip. |
7 | Brush the folded pastry with more melted butter and place it on a buttered jelly-roll pan. |
8 | Repeat the process with the remaining phyllo dough and filling ingredients. |
9 | Bake the pastries in the preheated oven for 10-15 minutes or until they are golden brown and crispy. |
10 | Allow the pastries to cool for 5 minutes before serving. |
