Sayur Sop Kulit Ayam ala Anak Kos

Ingredients

  • Chicken skin (adjust to your preference)
  • Green mustard leaves
  • Cabbage
  • Green onions
  • Celery
  • 1 clove garlic (crushed)
  • 2 shallots (sliced)
  • Ground pepper to taste
  • Ground nutmeg to taste
  • Masako chicken seasoning to taste
  • 1 packet of instant soup seasoning
  • 1 egg (lightly beaten)

Instructions

  1. Prepare the Chicken Skin:

    • Cut the chicken skin into pieces according to your preference.
    • Boil the chicken skin to remove excess fat and impurities. Optionally, you can add sausages or meatballs if available.
  2. Prepare the Vegetables:

    • Chop the green mustard leaves, cabbage, green onions, and celery.
    • Fry the sliced shallots until golden brown and set aside.
  3. Cook the Soup:

    • Discard the boiling water used for the chicken skin.
    • Add 2 cups of boiling water to the pot with the chicken skin.
    • Add the crushed garlic, green mustard leaves, cabbage, green onions, and celery to the pot.
  4. Season the Soup:

    • Add the instant soup seasoning, ground pepper, ground nutmeg, and Masako chicken seasoning to taste.
    • Bring the soup to a boil.
  5. Add the Egg:

    • Slowly pour the lightly beaten egg into the boiling soup while gently stirring to create thin strands of egg.
  6. Finish and Serve:

    • Sprinkle the fried shallots on top of the soup before serving for added flavor and crunch.
