Instructions
- Begin by adding the ingredients to your bread machine in the order recommended by the manufacturer.
- Select the Dough cycle and set the size to 1 lb.
- After 5 minutes, check the dough consistency; if it feels too dry, add one tablespoon of water at a time, and if it’s too wet, add one tablespoon of flour until the dough forms a ball and is slightly sticky.
- While the dough is mixing, lightly oil 6 one-cup brioche molds and preheat your oven to 375°F (190°C).
- Once the dough cycle is complete, remove the dough and knead it gently on a floured surface.
- Divide the dough into 6 equal pieces and cut about a quarter from each piece.
- Shape the larger pieces into balls and place them into the prepared molds, pressing your finger into the center to create a small hole.
- Take the smaller pieces, place them over the holes, and press gently to seal.
- Cover the molds with a clean cloth and allow the brioches to rise in a warm location until they have doubled in size, which should take about 20 to 30 minutes.
- Once risen, brush the tops with a little milk to promote a golden finish during baking.
- Bake in the preheated oven for 5 minutes, then reduce the temperature to 350°F (175°C) and continue baking until they are golden brown, approximately 15 minutes more.
- If the tops brown too quickly, cover them loosely with aluminum foil to prevent burning.
- The brioches are ready when they sound hollow when tapped on the bottom.
Enjoy your warm, buttery Mini Brioches, perfect for sharing or savoring all by yourself!
