Instructions

  1. Prepare the Base: Start by setting aside about 1/2 cup of the milk for later use. This reserved milk will be added later to adjust the pudding’s consistency if needed.

  2. Heat the Milk and Cream: In a large saucepan, combine the remaining milk and the heavy cream. Stir in the cinnamon sticks, rice, salt, and lemon zest. Heat over medium-high heat, bringing the mixture to a gentle simmer.
