Prepare Potatoes: Place the Russet potatoes into a large saucepan, and cover with salted water. Bring to a boil, then reduce the heat and simmer for 10 minutes.

Incorporate Corn: Add corn kernels to the potatoes and cook for another 30 seconds. Drain the potatoes and corn in a colander.
