Cheese Chicken Nuggets Recipe

Ingredients:

  • 1 kg chicken fillet
  • 125 g cheddar cheese
  • 2 teaspoons salt
  • 1 teaspoon black pepper
  • 4 eggs
  • 4 tablespoons cornstarch
  • 300 g breadcrumbs
  • 6 cloves garlic
  • 1 imported carrot

Instructions:

  1. Prepare the Chicken Mixture: Start by finely chopping the chicken fillet using a blender. Ensure the chicken is not processed too smoothly; it should have a bit of texture. Add the garlic, salt, and black pepper to the chicken and blend briefly until the ingredients are well mixed.

  2. Grate Cheese and Carrot: Grate the cheddar cheese and the imported carrot separately. Set them aside for later use.

  3. Combine Ingredients: In a large bowl, mix the processed chicken with the cornstarch. Beat 2 of the eggs and incorporate them into the chicken mixture. Add the grated cheese and carrot and mix thoroughly to combine all the ingredients.

  4. Steam the Mixture: Transfer the combined mixture into a heatproof dish. Steam the dish over simmering water for about 30 minutes, ensuring the mixture is fully cooked through. Once done, remove from the steamer and let it cool completely.

  5. Shape and Coat Nuggets: Once cooled, cut the chicken mixture into nugget-sized pieces according to your preference. Dip each piece into the remaining beaten eggs, then coat with breadcrumbs, ensuring each nugget is evenly covered.

  6. Chill and Serve: Place the breaded nuggets on a baking sheet and refrigerate them until they are firm, which makes frying easier. Once chilled, they are ready to be served.
