Homemade Chicken and Vegetable Nuggets
Ingredients:
- 250 grams ground chicken
- 1 medium carrot, grated
- 4 tablespoons oat flour or all-purpose flour
- Cheddar cheese, shredded (as needed)
- 1 egg
- 60 ml liquid milk
- 1 teaspoon cornstarch solution (cornstarch mixed with a little water)
- Chopped scallions (as needed)
- For the spice paste:
- 3 shallots
- 2 garlic cloves
- Salt (to taste)
- Egg white and breadcrumbs for coating

Prepare the Mixture:
- In a large bowl, combine the ground chicken, grated carrot, flour, shredded cheddar cheese, egg, milk, and the cornstarch solution.
- Add the finely blended spice paste (shallots, garlic, and salt) to the mixture. Mix thoroughly until the ingredients are well combined and the mixture is smooth and cohesive.

- Transfer the mixture into a heatproof container or mold. Steam for approximately 30 minutes, checking occasionally with a fork to ensure it is fully cooked.

Cool and Shape:
- Once steamed, remove from heat and allow the mixture to cool. Once cooled, cut it into nugget-sized pieces.

- Dip each nugget piece into egg white, then coat with breadcrumbs.
- Heat oil in a pan over medium heat and fry the nuggets until golden brown and crispy on all sides.
