Black Pepper Powder 1/2 teaspoon
Red Chilli Flakes 1/2 teaspoon
Britannia Cheezza 200 grams
For the Spicy Cheesy Dip Quantity
Britannia Cheese Spread – Four Pepper Tango 1 tbsp
Sriracha Sauce 2 tbsp
Veeba Sweet Chilli Sauce 2 tbsp
Soy Sauce 1 tbsp

Instructions

  1. Prepare the Dough

    • Start by making the dough for the momos. In a bowl, combine the all-purpose flour (maida) and salt. Gradually add water, a little at a time, until you form a smooth dough.
    • Cover the dough with a damp cloth and allow it to rest for about 15 to 20 minutes.
  2. Make the Filling

    • Heat some oil in a pan over medium heat. Once the oil is hot, add the finely chopped garlic, ginger, and green chillies. Sauté them for a few seconds until fragrant.
    • Add the sweet corn, black pepper powder, red chilli flakes, and salt to taste. Stir everything together and cook for a few more minutes until well combined. Turn off the heat and set the mixture aside to cool.
  3. Prepare the Chilli Cheese Momos

    • After the dough has rested, knead it again for a minute. Divide the dough into small, equal-sized balls.
    • Lightly dust a clean surface with flour, and roll each ball into a small, thin circle using a rolling pin.
    • Place about 1 teaspoon of the cooled corn mixture in the center of each dough circle. Add about 1 tablespoon of grated Britannia Cheezza cheese on top of the corn filling.
    • Now, shape the momos: Fold the dough edges to enclose the filling, pinching and folding to form a half-moon shape with frilled edges. Repeat this process with the remaining dough and filling.
    • As you shape the momos, place them on a greased platter and cover them with a damp cloth to prevent them from drying out.
  4. Steam the Momos

    • While shaping the momos, prepare the steamer. Bring water to a boil in the steamer. Grease the steamer pan with a little oil to prevent the momos from sticking.
    • Place the shaped momos on the greased steamer pan, ensuring they are not overcrowded. Steam them on high for about 7 to 10 minutes, or until the skin becomes glossy and shiny. You will know the momos are done when you see the shine on the dough. Turn off the heat.
  5. Prepare the Spicy Cheesy Dip

    • In a small bowl, combine the Britannia Cheese Spread – Four Pepper Tango, Sriracha sauce, Veeba Sweet Chilli Sauce, and soy sauce. Stir them together to form a smooth, spicy dip.
  6. Serve and Enjoy
