Cheesy Egg Roll-Ups with Carrots and Green Onions

Cheesy Rolled Egg (Telur Gulung Keju)

Ingredients:

  • 4 large eggs
  • 1 small carrot, finely diced
  • 1 stalk green onion, thinly sliced
  • 1 slice cheese, cut into strips
  • Salt, to taste
  • Mushroom broth seasoning, to taste
  • Cooking oil, as needed

Instructions:

  1. Prepare the Egg Mixture: In a bowl, whisk together the eggs, diced carrot, and sliced green onion. Season with salt and mushroom broth seasoning according to your taste.

  2. Heat the Pan: Place a non-stick frying pan (ideally 20 cm in diameter) over medium heat. Lightly grease the pan with a small amount of cooking oil, spreading it evenly with a paper towel to ensure a thin, even layer.

  3. Cook the Egg Layer: Pour a ladleful of the egg mixture into the pan, spreading it out into a thin layer. Allow it to cook until the edges start to set.

  4. Roll the Egg: Once the egg layer is firm but still slightly soft on top, start rolling it from one side to the other to form a log shape.

  5. Add Cheese: Place a strip of cheese on top of the rolled egg and continue to roll, adding more cheese strips as you go. Repeat the layering and rolling process to create 2-3 layers, depending on your preference.

  6. Finish Cooking: Cook until the cheese is melted and the egg is cooked through.

  7. Serve: Slice the rolled egg into pieces and serve warm. Enjoy your Cheesy Rolled Egg as a delightful snack or a flavorful addition to your meal.
