Ingredients:
- 1 plum tomatoes
- 3 zucchini
- 1 package mozzarella cheese
- 1 bunch fresh basil leaves
- 1 teaspoon dried basil leaves
- 1/2 cup mayonnaise
- 1 garlic clove
Instructions:
- Preheat the oven to 375°F (190°C).
- Lightly spray a Valtrompia Bread Tube and caps with vegetable oil using a kitchen spritzer.
- Cap the bottom of the bread tube, then fill it with dough. Place the cap on top.
- Bake the tube upright for 50 to 60 minutes, then allow it to cool for 10 minutes.
- Remove the bread from the tube and let it cool completely.
- Cut the bread into 1/4-inch slices and place them on a 15-inch round Baking Stone.
- Increase the oven temperature to 425°F (220°C).
- Slice the tomatoes and set them aside.
- Thinly slice the mozzarella cheese and set it aside.
- Snip the fresh basil leaves.
- In a 1-quart bowl, combine the mayonnaise and fresh basil.
- Press the garlic clove into the bowl and stir until well mixed.
- Spread 1 tablespoon of the mayonnaise mixture over each bread slice.
- Top each bread slice with slices of zucchini, tomato, and mozzarella cheese.
- Bake for 10 to 12 minutes, or until the cheese is melted and golden.
