Ingredients:
- 1/2 cup butter
- 2/3 cup brown sugar
- 1 egg
- 1 cup flour
- 1 1/4 cups granola cereal
- 1/2 cup sweetened coconut
- 1/2 cup maraschino cherries
- 1/2 teaspoon baking powder
Instructions:

Cream the butter, sugar & egg until light. In a mixing bowl, combine the butter and brown sugar. Cream them together using a hand mixer or stand mixer until the mixture becomes light and fluffy. Then, add the egg to the mixture and continue to beat until well incorporated.

Stir in the remaining ingredients. Once the butter, sugar, and egg are well combined, add the flour, granola cereal, sweetened coconut, maraschino cherries, and baking powder to the bowl. Use a spatula or wooden spoon to gently fold the dry ingredients into the wet ingredients until a dough forms.

Mix well. Ensure all the ingredients are evenly distributed throughout the dough by mixing thoroughly. This will ensure that each bite of your cookies is packed with delicious flavors and textures.

Drop by tablespoons on a greased cookie sheet. Take spoonfuls of the cookie dough and drop them onto a greased cookie sheet, leaving space between each cookie to allow for spreading while baking. You can also use parchment paper or a silicone baking mat to prevent sticking.

Bake at 350°F for 10-12 minutes or until golden brown. Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C). Place the cookie sheet in the preheated oven and bake the cookies for 10 to 12 minutes, or until they turn a beautiful golden brown color around the edges.
