Owl’s Eyes Chocolate Pretzel Treats
Description: Check these out before you say GROSS!! They’re not what you think….Honest. I had these a while back at my stamp club, courtesy of another stamper. They are so popular around here right now that you can’t find the pretzel rings or Hugs just anywhere. Hope you’ll try them too! They’re so simple, I’m kinda ashamed to call it a recipe………
Cook Time: 4 minutes
Prep Time: 8 minutes
Total Time: 12 minutes
Servings: 16
Ingredients:
- 16 pretzel rings
- 16 Hershey’s Hugs
- 16 M&M’s candies (any color)
Instructions:
-
Preheat oven to 200 degrees Fahrenheit.
-
Prepare cookie sheet: Line it with waxed or parchment paper for best results.
-
Place Hugs: Unwrap Hugs and place them on the prepared cookie sheet.
-
Add pretzels: Place a pretzel around each Hug. Don’t worry if it doesn’t drop to the base of the Hug; it will melt and adhere during baking.
-
Bake: Place the cookie sheet in the preheated oven and bake for approximately 3 and a half minutes. Keep an eye on them to avoid over-baking.
-
Add M&M’s: Immediately after removing from the oven, place an M&M candy in the center of each Hug and press down slightly to flatten.
-
Cool: Allow the treats to cool on the cookie sheet for a few minutes.
-
Chill (optional): For faster setting, place them in the refrigerator.
-
Serve: Once set, serve and enjoy these delightful Owl’s Eyes chocolate pretzel treats!
