Serves: 20 pieces
Ingredients
Ingredient | Quantity |
---|---|
Williams pears | 280g |
Sweetened condensed milk | 250g |
All-purpose flour (00) | 200g |
Butter | 80g |
Brown sugar | 80g |
Baking powder | 5g |
Ground cinnamon | 1 tsp |
Fine salt | 1 pinch |
Instructions
- Begin by peeling the pears and cutting them into 1 cm cubes.
- Place the pear cubes in a pan, adding a teaspoon of ground cinnamon to infuse the flavor. Sauté for a few minutes, and then turn off the heat, allowing the pears to cool completely.
- In a bowl, sift together the flour and baking powder, then add the salt. Mix the dry ingredients into the condensed milk mixture.
- Incorporate the melted butter, allowing it to slightly cool before mixing, until the batter becomes smooth and homogeneous.
- Gently fold in the cooled pear cubes, flavored with cinnamon.
- Grease a rectangular baking pan (20×26 cm) and line it with parchment paper. Pour the batter into the prepared pan, spreading it evenly with a spatula.
- Bake in a preheated static oven at 180°C (or 160°C for a fan-assisted oven) for about 40 minutes, or 30 minutes if using a fan oven, until the surface is golden and the batter has set.
- Once baked, allow the blondies to cool in the pan before turning them out onto a cutting board.
Enjoy these delightful pear blondies as a sweet treat for any occasion! Their tender texture and warm cinnamon flavor, paired with the sweet pears, make them a crowd-pleaser for sure. Perfect for serving at parties, gatherings, or enjoying with a cup of tea!
