Instructions:

  1. Prepare the Cheese and Ham: Begin by grating the Gruyère cheese (or any soft cheese of your choice for a creamy melt). Set it aside for later use. Then, take the cooked ham and cut it into slices, ready to place between the bread.

  2. Assemble the Sandwiches: Place one slice of cooked ham on each piece of white bread. Layer the grated cheese generously on top of the ham, ensuring the bread is well covered.

  3. Cook the Toast: In a wide skillet, melt 20g of butter over low heat. Once melted, take each assembled sandwich and place it in the skillet to lightly brown the bread. Allow it to crisp up and the cheese to begin melting—about 2-3 minutes on each side.
