Instructions:
- Brew the Coffee: Start by preparing your coffee using 30g of ground coffee. Once brewed, set it aside for later use.
- Prepare the Chocolate: Finely chop the dark chocolate into small pieces.
- Mix the Milk and Dry Ingredients: In a saucepan, pour the whole milk and add the cornstarch and cocoa powder. Stir the mixture until everything is well combined, ensuring there are no lumps.
- Melt the Chocolate: Place the saucepan over low to medium heat. Gradually add the chopped dark chocolate while continuously stirring. Keep stirring until the chocolate has completely melted and the mixture is smooth.
- Incorporate the Coffee: Once the chocolate has melted, pour in the brewed coffee. Stir to combine.
- Add the Brandy: Remove the saucepan from the heat and pour in the brandy. Stir well to incorporate.
- Whip the Cream: In a separate bowl, whip the heavy cream with an electric mixer on medium-high speed until soft peaks form. Transfer the whipped cream into a piping bag or a small bowl for easy serving.
- Serve and Garnish: Pour the hot chocolate mixture into mugs or glasses. Top with a generous swirl of whipped cream.
