- Ice water, as needed
- Cooking oil
Instructions:
-
Prepare the Chicken:
- Wash the chicken pieces thoroughly and pat them dry.
-
Set Up the Coating Stations:
- Prepare two bowls. One will be for the wet flour mixture and the other for the dry flour coating.

Make the Wet Flour Mixture:
- In one bowl, combine approximately 2 tablespoons of the spicy seasoned flour with enough ice water to create a thin batter. Use a fork to mix until smooth and well combined.
-
Coat the Chicken:
- Dip each chicken piece into the wet flour mixture, ensuring it’s completely coated.
-
Apply the Dry Flour Coating:

-
Fry the Chicken:
- Heat cooking oil in a frying pan or deep fryer over medium-high heat.
- Carefully add the coated chicken pieces into the hot oil. Fry until they are golden brown and cooked through.
- Once done, remove the fried chicken and place them on a plate lined with paper towels to drain excess oil.
-
Serve and Enjoy:
- Your Spicy Crazy Chicken à la KFC is now ready to be enjoyed!
Note:
- If you prefer less spiciness, you can mix one pack of the spicy seasoned flour with one pack of the original seasoned flour, adjusting the spice level to your preference.
