  • 3/4 cup celery, finely chopped
  • 3 tbsp all-purpose flour
  • 3 cans (6.5 oz each) chopped clams, juice reserved
  • 2 cups half-and-half
  • 1 tsp salt
  • 1/2 tsp white pepper
  • 1/4 tsp dried thyme

Instructions:

  1. Prepare the Vegetables:

    • In a saucepan, melt butter over medium-low heat.

    • Sauté until the vegetables are tender but not browned, about 3-4 minutes.

  5. Serve:

    • Serve the clam sauce hot over your favorite buttered spaghetti noodles.
    • Garnish with generous portions of Parmesan cheese, if desired.
