Ingredients

Ingredient Quantity
Tahu Putih 8 pieces
Sawi Putih ½ kg
Santan 2 cups
Minyak Goreng For frying
Spices:
Bawang Putih 3 cloves
Bawang Merah 4 cloves
Cabai Merah Keriting 6 pieces
Cabai Rawit 3 pieces
Lengkuas 1 slice
Daun Salam 1 leaf
Garam ½ tablespoon
Gula Pasir ½ teaspoon

Instructions

  1. Prepare the Tofu: Cut the tofu into small cubes and fry them in hot oil until golden brown, being careful not to let them become too dry. Once done, lift and drain on paper towels.

  2. Prepare the Sawi: Chop the sawi putih into bite-sized pieces and wash thoroughly. Set aside.

  3. Sauté the Spices: In a heated pan, add oil and sauté the sliced shallots, garlic, chilies, galangal, and bay leaf until fragrant.

  4. Combine Ingredients: Add the chopped sawi putih and the fried tofu to the pan, stirring gently.

  5. Season: Sprinkle in the salt and sugar, then pour in the santan. Stir carefully to prevent the santan from breaking.

  6. Cook: Allow the mixture to come to a boil, tasting for seasoning adjustments as necessary. Once the flavors meld, turn off the heat.

  7. Serve: Your Tahu Sawi Putih Masak Santan is now ready to be enjoyed. Serve warm and savor the delightful flavors!

Enjoy this dish as a comforting meal, perfect for sharing with loved ones. Happy cooking!
