Crab Bisque Recipe

Ingredients:

  • 1 pound fresh lump crabmeat
  • 1 cup milk
  • 1 cup dry sherry
  • 1 tablespoon sugar
  • 1 teaspoon black pepper
  • 1/2 teaspoon salt
  • 2 tablespoons Worcestershire sauce
  • 2 stalks celery, chopped
  • 1 onion, chopped
  • 5 cloves garlic, minced

Instructions:

  1. Preparation:

    • Drain crabmeat, and remove any bits of shell. Set aside.
  2. Cooking:

    • In a large pot, stir together celery soup, milk, dry sherry, sugar, black pepper, salt, Worcestershire sauce, celery, onion, and garlic.
    • Cook over medium heat, stirring constantly, until the mixture is thoroughly heated, about 15 minutes.
  3. Final Touch:

    • Stir in the reserved crabmeat until well combined.
