Whole Wheat Penne Rigate 320g
Gorgonzola Cheese 350g
Fresh Cream 150g
Salt To taste
Black Pepper To taste

Instructions:

  1. Begin by preparing the gorgonzola cheese. Carefully remove the rind from the cheese and slice it into small pieces.
  2. Place the gorgonzola in a pan, add a pinch of black pepper, and turn the heat to low. Let the cheese melt slowly for about 10 minutes, stirring occasionally to ensure it doesn’t burn.
  3. While the cheese is melting, bring a large pot of water to a boil. Add salt to the water and cook the penne rigate until they are al dente, following the package instructions.
  4. Once the pasta is ready, drain it, but reserve a bit of the pasta water.
  5. Immediately add the hot, drained pasta to the pan with the melted gorgonzola cheese. Stir gently to coat the pasta evenly in the creamy sauce.
  6. Continue to cook the pasta on low heat for 1-2 minutes, allowing the sauce to thicken and coat the pasta. If needed, add a small amount of the reserved pasta water to achieve the desired consistency.
  7. Remove from heat, plate the pasta, and serve immediately.
